From Danielle’s book, here is a recipe for the Purple Power Smoothie pictured on the cover.
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup açai-blueberry juice
¼ cup soft silken tofu
¼ cup plain or vanilla soy milk
Agave nectar, to taste
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Makes 1 smoothie. (1½ cups or 12 oz.)
The banana, tofu, soy milk, lemon juice and agave are the base for any berry combination you would like to experiment with. There are many wonderful juices now available that also work beautifully for this smoothie. Let your taste buds direct you!
