All the flavor of cranberry sauce, poured into a cup or glass. Spike it with rum or vodka. Tastes like Thanksgiving and Christmas all rolled into one.
3½ quarts water
1 (12 ounce) package cranberries
1 cup Agave Nectar
1 cup orange juice
2 lemons, juiced
12 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
In a large pot, combine water and cranberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 45 minutes. Add the agave nectar, orange juice and lemon juice. Cover, and simmer for 1-2 hours, adjust for sweetness. Wonderful served hot or cold, but if you have extra, strain off the cranberries and spices before refrigerating.
